Solar Plant EPC Solutions
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction delivered as a single accountable contract. 250+ solar plants commissioned across Pakistan.
What Turnkey EPC Means for You
EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. When you sign with GFE, you get one contract, one team, and one throat to grab if anything goes wrong. You do not manage multiple vendors, chase permits, or coordinate between a designer who has never been on site and a contractor who never read the design.
Our in-house team handles every phase: site feasibility, shadow analysis, system design, equipment procurement from Tier-1 global brands, civil works, electrical installation, grid interconnection, and final commissioning.
This model is why our clients return to us for their next facility before the first one's warranty period is even half over.
Our EPC Process
Site Assessment
Our engineers conduct a full site survey — roof load calculations, shadow analysis, grid connection assessment, and consumption data review. We tell you exactly what your site can support and what the realistic yield will be.
System Design
Using professional simulation software, we design your system to maximise energy yield for your specific load profile. You receive a full technical proposal with equipment specifications, layout drawings, and P50/P90 yield estimates.
Procurement
We source equipment from Tier-1 manufacturers — panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and protection systems. Our procurement relationships mean you get quality hardware at competitive pricing without import risk.
Civil & Electrical Works
Our installation teams handle all civil foundations, cable management, panel mounting, inverter installation, and AC/DC wiring to your switchboard. All work is carried out to IEC standards with photographic documentation.
Commissioning
Before handover, every string is tested, every protection relay is checked, and the system is run under load for a minimum commissioning period. You receive a full commissioning report with measured vs. expected performance.
Handover & Warranty
We hand over your plant with a full O&M manual, warranty documentation, and an optional ongoing maintenance contract. Your first year of monitoring is included — we stay engaged until your system is performing as designed.
Systems We Design & Install
Grid-Tied Systems
50 kW to 10 MW+
The most common configuration for commercial and industrial clients. Directly offsets grid consumption during daylight hours. Net metering enables export revenue where applicable. Lowest capital cost per kW.
Hybrid Systems
30 kW to 2 MW
Combines solar generation with battery storage and grid connection. Allows load shifting, backup power during outages, and peak demand shaving. Ideal for clients with critical loads or high after-hours consumption.
Off-Grid Systems
5 kW to 500 kW
Fully independent from the national grid. Designed with battery banks and backup generation for complete energy autonomy. Most applicable in remote locations where grid connection is unavailable or expensive.
Every GFE system is built on mounting structures manufactured in-house by FERO — see them in service across our completed solar installations.
Why Clients Choose GFE
250+ Completed Projects
We have commissioned more solar plants in Pakistan than most companies have quoted. That experience means fewer surprises, faster delivery, and better outcomes.
100 MW Installed Capacity
From 50 kW rooftops to 5 MW utility installations — our engineers have designed and built at every scale. Your project size is not a challenge for us.
Tier-1 Equipment Only
We do not cut corners on equipment. Every GFE project uses bankable, Tier-1 rated panels and inverters with full manufacturer warranties.
Single Point of Accountability
One contract, one team, one point of contact. If anything is not right, you call us — not five different vendors pointing fingers at each other.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a commercial solar project cost in Pakistan?
Commercial solar project costs vary by system size, site conditions, and equipment grade. For industrial systems above 100kW, installed costs typically range from PKR 80 to 120 per watt. GFE provides detailed feasibility studies with exact cost projections before any commitment.
How long does installation take from design to commissioning?
A typical commercial or industrial solar project takes 6 to 12 weeks from finalised design to commissioning, depending on system size, site access, and equipment delivery. GFE handles all procurement and logistics — you do not need to manage lead times.
Is GFE AEDB certified?
Yes. Green Fuel Energy is AEDB and PPIB certified, PEC C-3 registered, and fully compliant with Pakistan's regulatory requirements for solar EPC contractors. All our engineers hold relevant professional qualifications.
Does GFE handle net metering applications?
Yes. We manage the full net metering application process with LESCO, FESCO, PESCO, HESCO, and other DISCOs as part of our turnkey EPC scope. Most clients do not need to visit a DISCO office at any point in the process.
What happens after commissioning?
Every GFE project includes one year of complimentary monitoring and post-commissioning support. We offer ongoing O&M contracts for clients who want continued performance optimisation and preventive maintenance beyond the first year.
