Our EPC Process
Site Assessment
Roof or ground survey, structural load checks, shadow analysis, consumption profile review, and grid-connection assessment. You get a clear picture of what the site can support and realistic yield — not a sales-only estimate.
System Design
Professional simulation for your load profile, layout drawings, Tier-1 equipment specs, and P50/P90 yield estimates. Inclination and structure type are set for your city wind loads and site geometry — not a one-size template.
Net Metering / DISCO Application
GFE manages the full interconnection and net-metering or net-billing file with LESCO, FESCO, PESCO, HESCO, MEPCO, and other DISCOs. Most clients never need to visit a DISCO office — we handle documentation, follow-ups, and approvals as part of EPC scope.
Installation
Civil foundations or roof mounting (FERO structures), DC/AC cabling, inverter and protection installation, and switchboard interconnection — all to IEC practice with photographic documentation.
Commissioning
String testing, protection checks, and loaded run before handover. You receive a commissioning report with measured vs expected performance, plus first-year monitoring support.

Grid-Tied Systems
50 kW to 10 MW+
The most common configuration for commercial and industrial clients. Directly offsets grid consumption during daylight hours. Net metering enables export revenue where applicable. Lowest capital cost per kW.
Hybrid Systems
30 kW to 2 MW
Combines solar generation with battery storage and grid connection. Allows load shifting, backup power during outages, and peak demand shaving. Ideal for clients with critical loads or high after-hours consumption.
Off-Grid Systems
5 kW to 500 kW
Fully independent from the national grid. Designed with battery banks and backup generation for complete energy autonomy. Most applicable in remote locations where grid connection is unavailable or expensive.

Punjab (LESCO / FESCO / MEPCO)
Most GFE C&I volume sits here. Tilt is typically set for Lahore–Faisalabad–Multan latitude bands; DISCO file work follows each utility's net-metering / net-billing process and documentation checklist.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (PESCO)
Industrial and campus sites often need careful shadow and terrain assessment. Interconnection timing and documentation differ from Punjab DISCOs — GFE manages the PESCO path as part of EPC.
Sindh (HESCO / K-Electric where applicable)
Karachi and interior Sindh sites bring coastal corrosion and heat considerations for structure and equipment selection, plus utility-specific interconnection rules on the application path.

How long does installation take from design to commissioning?
A typical commercial or industrial solar project takes 6 to 12 weeks from finalised design to commissioning, depending on system size, site access, DISCO approval timing, and equipment delivery. GFE handles procurement and logistics — you do not need to manage lead times.
Is GFE AEDB certified?
Yes. Green Fuel Energy is AEDB and PPIB certified, PEC C-3 registered, and fully compliant with Pakistan's regulatory requirements for solar EPC contractors. All our engineers hold relevant professional qualifications.
Does GFE handle net metering applications?
Yes. We manage the full net metering / net billing application process with LESCO, FESCO, PESCO, HESCO, MEPCO, and other DISCOs as part of our turnkey EPC scope. Most clients do not need to visit a DISCO office at any point in the process.
What happens after commissioning?

Do tilt angles and DISCO rules change by city?
Yes. Inclination and structure design follow local latitude and wind-load practice; interconnection paperwork follows the specific DISCO or utility. GFE sets both during site assessment and design rather than applying a national one-size template.
