FERO design drawings. Photos of installed structures are on the project pages linked below.

P3 does the same job as the P2 elevated shed in a three-leg layout, for larger arrays and wider roof spans on commercial flat roofs with obstacles. Depending on the design height and site rules, it can leave walkable or serviceable space under the array. It is SS400 iron, hot-dip galvanized to ASTM A123 with a 90 micron coating, or painted.

FAQ

Common questions

Why choose the P3 elevated shed over P2?

Specify P3 when the array width or span needs the three-leg layout for stiffness on larger commercial roofs.

Does elevation create usable space below?

It can. Depending on the design height and site rules, an elevated layout can leave walkable or serviceable space under the array.

Is the structural design site-specific?

Yes. Height, inclination and wind design are set from the roof obstacles, the roof's load capacity and local wind data.
