Project Overview

GFE designed and delivered the monitoring and control system for a 5.2 MWp solar plant at a government facility. NeoTAQ neoLog handles data acquisition and control at the plant, deployed and configured by GFE, and GFE designed and developed the plant SCADA on atvise, a browser-based platform built on OPC UA. The SCADA gives operators one live view of the whole plant: - Actual output against a live loss model, refreshed every 5 minutes - Performance ratio calculated live, plus daily and monthly energy-based PR - Output of all 16 string inverters side by side - Solar generation, grid and site load, curtailment status and the point of interconnection meter - An on-site meteo station measuring plane-of-array irradiance, ambient and module temperature, wind and humidity - Alarms, trends and reports, available from any web browser on site or remotely Read more about how it works in our article on [solar SCADA, data acquisition and plant control in Pakistan](/blog/solar-scada-data-acquisition-power-plant-controller-pakistan).
